Twenty-one years ago I received the Lord and eventually wound up in a certain denomination. This is where I met a dear sister who helped me to love the Lord’s Word. One day this sister began to read to me a portion of Changed into His Likeness by Watchman Nee. That book flooded me with light and life. I’d never received such a spiritual infusion from a spiritual book about the Bible before. I was filled with joy and excitement. I had to have more. I was so hungry. She’d been speaking with a group of believers that met from house to house. This was biblical, so I prayed earnestly. The Lord answered by leading me to join them.

Psalm 36:8, 9 says “They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of Thy house; and Thou shalt make them drink of the river of Thy pleasures. For with Thee is the fountain of life; in The light shall we see light.”

I’m so very thankful to the Lord for the “fatness”, the riches, I have received from meeting with the local church. I will continue drinking of the river of His pleasures, enjoying Christ as the light of life.
