I was raised as a Catholic. My father was not a devout follower. He told us that we were to confess our sins directly to God. For that I am thankful. It caused me to speak with God at an early age.

I received the Lord in 1974. Although I spent the next nine years in the world, the Lord called me back to Himself in 1983. I called the Christian sister who’d preached the gospel to me in high school to let her know that I was being baptized, and she told me that she’d prayed for me those nine years.

On January 21, 1986 I was awakened with the clear vision that Christ died for all and was in all of His believers. I attended my first prayer meeting with some Christians from the local church. I’d prayed for the Lord’s leading and guidance and I am certain that my meeting with the church in Lafayette, Louisiana was an answer to many years of prayer from many Christians all over the earth.

Now, after reading the ministries of Witness Lee and Watchman Nee I have learned how to contact Christ through my human spirit. The most wonderful reality in the Christian experience is that all the believers in Christ are united with Him in life.
